Overview Independent organisations dedicated to working with investors, shareholders, companies and regulators are advocating that Issuers should vote all resolutions by poll at every shareholder meeting, including routine ones to encourage transparency and good corporate governance. Their views are increasingly being heard. Most companies shy away from subjecting their resolutions to voting by poll as the manual poll voting process at AGMs/EGMs takes too long. Trusted Board has developed a patent-pending electronic method, TrustPoll , for automating poll voting.
