	Overview Independent organisations dedicated to working with investors, shareholders, companies and regulators are advocating that all resolutions of Issuers to be voted by poll at every shareholder meeting, including routine ones to encourage transparency and good corporate governance. Their views are increasingly being heard. Most companies shy away from subjecting their resolutions to voting by poll as the manual poll voting process at AGMs/EGMs takes too long.
	Trusted Board Ltd, with our corporate secretarial experience and share registration knowledge, has developed a patented electronic voting method, TrustPoll, for automating poll voting. The initial launch of TrustPoll in July 2009 was paper-based but automated. In January 2010, Trusted Board Ltd became the first local company in Singapore to develop and successfully launched the electronic poll voting system using the handheld device – TrustPoll Plus. Our solution improves time management from the time the shareholder registers his attendance to vote counting and results display.
